Amanda Radke tackles the topic of beef quality and what carnivores should be eating.

Hardly a day passes by without someone telling me how unhealthy it is to eat “grocery store meat” or “grain fed beef.” Yet I’ve been eating this way for a decade and continue to feel great. So what gives?

People are definitely confused and curious when it comes to the topic of meat quality.  So I invited a fifth-generation rancher on my show to explain what the beef labels mean, how different kinds of beef varies nutritionally, and what kind of meat she thinks Carnivores should be eating. 

We also discuss hormones and antibiotics in beef and whether or not Carnivores should be concerned.  It’s an episode you don’t want to miss!

    I found you through Joe Rogan’s podcast with Dr. Shawn Baker and I want to thank you for sharing your story. You’re such an inspiration. I’m only on day 29 and down 28# and 28.5 inches over all (which is awesome) but the way I feel is better than whatever the scale says. It’s better than any antidepressant I’ve taken and my arthritis pain (since age 19), GERD, and migraines (1-2/wk) have seemed to disappear. It’s amazing!

    I think what most people’s concerns are Hormones. Many people blame corporate- commercially raised animals that have been given hormones on one of the big reasons why little girls are starting their periods so much earlier than they did 40-50 years ago. I say one of the reasons because the junky processed, carb rich, typical american diet that most people eat today also is playing a huge part. Health concious people today are concerned -even scared – about the amount of unhealthy things that are offered at the grocery stores, shoved in our faces constantly in food commercials, even just driving down the street – so they are naturally afraid of even foods they used to think were good for them. Cattle being fed GMO Monsanto corn is also pretty scary stuff. Having said all of that – I understand where people are coming from – most of the time. I still do not understand or agree with vegetarian diets. Especially when so many plant food cause inflammation and are toxic to one degree or another. Not only that – but so much vegetarian food is also processed. However, having said all of that – I have been strict Keto (as close to 0 carbs) for awhile now – but I am in the process of switching over to Carnivore. I am trying a 30 day carnivore challenge, and excited about it. Thank you both so much.
